Winchcombe Blues Weekend

One of the reasons I enjoy living in Winchcombe is because I like being part of a community. People being invested in their surroundings improves wellbeing and I think this is very important.

After the fire in 2017 that nearly closed us down, the support from local businesses and the community was above and beyond. Without it we wouldn’t be where we are today.

Fundraising for charities, either local or just close to your heart is one way of coming together. And when there’s music involved all the better!

Winchcombe Live are responsible for these such events and they have a Blues Weekend lined up for 12-13th of April.

The whole weekend will be in aid of “Lifting the Blues” a charity with the aim of assisting carers of people with depression.

Events will be held in The White Hart and Rosie’s Bar & Patisserie. There will be bands and workshops so the whole family can get involved in the music. Buskers in the town will mean Winchcombe will be awash with Blues music, all we need ask for is some spring sunshine.

To celebrate and support the Blues Festival, we’re giving away some fantastic raffle prizes by brands CDA and Kuhn Rikon.
CDA are the fastest growing appliance manufacturer in the UK bringing practical, innovative and stylish appliances into the kitchen. And most people have heard of Kuhn Rikon, who have been producing high quality cookware and practical cooks’ tools since 1926. Kuhn Rikon products are characterised by outstanding Swiss design, many of their products have won design awards
